Master of Education Degree Programm -2015/2016

Applications are invited for the Master of Education Degree programm conducted by the National Institute of Education Maharagama.

Target Group:

• Sri Lanka Teacher Service (SLTS)
• Sri Lanka Principal Service (SLPS)
• Sri Lanka Teacher Educator Service (SLTES)
• Sri Lanka Education Administrator Service (SLEAS)
• The Principals & Teachers of Pirivenas or Government approved schools The Academic officers of the National Institute of Education or  government approved Educational Institutes

Required Qualifications:

• A Post Graduate Diploma in Education with a minimum 05 ‘B’ Passes or 
• A Bachelor of Education Degree with a minimum 05 ‘B’ Passes or
• A First Degree with a class and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Below 52 years of age on the date of closing of application

Nature of the Course:

• Part time ( Week ends and School holidays )

Course duration:

• 18 months

Medium:

• The course is conducted in 03 media.( Sinhala/Tamil/ English Medium)
• Medium & Instruction of the programme will be decided by the institution upon finalizing the number of qualified candidates available for each center.
